I have so many friends that kept journals/diaries (and that still do) and they occasionally go back to see what they were like 5+ years ago. If only I had the ability to write my thoughts down like that, I would keep one too. But I think I'm too afraid of my journal being found, so I tend to edit it for people who might read it some day.
