As I mentioned earlier this week, I qualified for my first Influenster VoxBox and received a complimentary pack of Neutrogena Naturals face wipes. I was pretty thrilled to have been chosen for this box, because this product is both something within my price range and something I use on a regular basis. For the past several months, I've been using a couple other brands of facial cleansing wipes on the days I don't wash my face with water, and prefer to quickly remove my makeup without much of a hassle. So, I was definitely eager to try these!
The idea behind putting together this VoxBox has to do with the folks at Neutrogena, their support of The Nature Conservancy, and the effort they're making to conserve water with their #WipeForWater challenge. According to their estimation, every day you clean your face without water, you can save up to 5 gallons of water from going down the drain. (Of course, in my opinion, there's no way I use that much water when washing my face, but that could be because I'm always in a crazy rush, and I never turn the faucet on full-blast because our bathroom sink may or may not be perpetually halfway-clogged. Someone save me from myself. And my sink. But I digress.)
I definitely like the idea behind their #WipeForWater challenge and decided to commit to using only these wipes to wash my face for three days.
The verdict? This is definitely a product I'd use again. I like that this is a natural product, works very well, and is also made from 100% renewable fiber. I also must say that—as compared to the other brands of facial wipes I've used recently—these left my skin feeling incredibly soft after just one use. Sometimes I find that my skin is left feeling tight and in desperate need of moisturizer after washing, but these made my skin feel fantastic.
(Which is a good thing, because whenever you review something you were given for free, there's always that moment of fear when you think, "But what if I don't actually like it?!")
After three days, I like these wipes just as much as after the first use. I'll be quite happy to use these a few times a week until the package runs out and I start searching the weekly ads for sales and coupons in order to buy them again. (Hey, it's how I roll.)
If you're interested in participating in the #WipeForWater challenge, you can find all the little details on how to do so over here. There's also a super cute video of Kristin Bell, if that's your thing. (Of course it's your thing.)
