bits & pieces...

bits & pieces |
1. We made it to a new park this week, and Eisley had a grand ol' time in the tunnel and pushing her doll stroller all around the sidewalk and making me run around after her (enough to sufficiently fill my shoes with sand). It's been so hot during the day that we haven't done many park adventures at all for the past couple weeks. I need to be more intentional with fun outings like these, because so often our time away from home is filled with have-tos (like groceries, laundry and the like) and not want-tos (like park mornings, exploring our city and other things of that nature).

2. The Target dollar bins are killing it right now. I had about eight things in my basket a couple days ago—most of which I had to put back when I realized I didn't have the wall-space for a clipboard wall collage. (Alas!) I ended up getting this wooden chalk board, though, which satisfied my need for new decor. I scrawled "gathering place" with chalk, and it lasted approximately twenty minutes before it was all smudged up by tiny fingers. Such is life.

3. I randomly made a whole bunch of fabric bow headbands this week, but am unsure of what to do with them. I know I want to sell them, but I don't know if I will put them in the display at the local shop I sell at, or take the time to photograph and list them in my Etsy shop. (Leave a comment or shoot me an email if you want to snag one of these before next week! They fit older infants and toddlers. And they're pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself. $8 each, and that will include shipping within the US!)

4. We went to a baby shower last weekend, which meant Eisley skipped her usual afternoon nap. Needless to say, she crashed on the way home and I couldn't help but snap a photo. I probably have way too may photos of her sleeping, but I just can't be stopped.

  2. I'm pretty sure I need some of those headbands!

  3. I think those headbands are adorable, but my daughter is at the age where she refuses to keep anything in her hair. Well, unless it's jam or potatoes ... I found some blank storybooks in the dollar bin at our Target. I'm excited for Topher to use them for his stories. He tells hilarious ones - he just needs to learn how to write. And draw ...

  4. Those bows are adorable! :)
