I only took my fancy camera out once (that's right: once) during my entire trip, which is definitely a regret, but it is what it is. With the convenience of my iPhone (paired with the fact that I'm having trouble with the settings and focus on my camera), I often end up snapping photos with my phone and then editing them quickly with one of my favorite apps.
However, I'm glad that I ran inside to grab my camera one afternoon while Eisley and her cousin, Lilly, were running around the back yard. I couldn't get any photos of Eisley without her making some sort of goofy face (par for the course these days), but I was able to get a bunch of adorable photos of miss Lilly! She's only ten months older than Eisley, so they are definitely two peas in a pod when they get to spend time together. I wish so much that they were able to see each other more often, but these days we will take any time we can get!
I thought I'd share a few of my favorites from this spur-of-the-moment photoshoot:
Lilly is such a gem. She is sweet, silly and has an adventurous spirit. I can't wait to see what sort of girl she grows up to be, as the years go by.
