my weekly to-do list...

I typically love Mondays, but today has me begging for a re-do. A grumpy child, an impatient mama, a long to-do list, a fair amount of emotions on both sides…apparently that is not the recipe for happy times. Eisley went down for her nap a bit ago, and as much as I want to lay on the couch and browse Pinterest for a solid 45 minutes to clear my head, I figure I should buckle down and get a few things out of the way before indulging in my favorite time-waster…

So! Here I am.

See below for last week's to-do list, as well as a new list for the week ahead:

Last week's goals:

Marriage, Motherhood & Home Life
 — Wardrobe purge
 — Try one new recipe (tried two, actually!)
 — Make at least one freezer meal (freezing banana bread counts, right?)

 — Order new glasses (will do later this week)
 — Read every day
 — Learn something new (picked up a crochet book from the library)
 — Attempt to embrace mornings (huge failure...more on this later...)

 — Finish up shop sale and make list of ideas/goals for rest of year (there are a handful of felt wallets still available, so if you're interested in snagging one at a discount before I give them away as gifts, shoot me an email this week!)

 — Write list of goals for this blog
 — Earn at least one $5 gift card from Swagbucks (ended up earning two!)

This week's goals:

Marriage, Motherhood & Home Life
 — Try one new recipe
 — Take Eisley somewhere new
 — Reorganize garage (so my car can actually fit in there again, for heaven's sake)

 — Read every day
 — Run twice
 — Complete daily devotions/prayer (hopefully waking up before Eisley to do so)

 — Make a bunch of handmade thank-you cards to have on hand
 — Work on granny square blanket

 — Earn at least one $5 gift card from Swagbucks
 — Send one piece of snail mail

I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend! Happy, happy Monday.

  1. I check your blog every morning when I get to work. It's just a part of my daily routine. I'm always so happy to read new posts. I've been reading your blog for nearly 4 years and I think of you as an online friend. Sometimes when you write, it's like reading about myself. We have so much in common. I completely understand your need to pull back and write less on here. Thank you for sharing what you do! <3

    1. Ah! Shauna. You are a gem. Thank you so much for this. Means so much to me. :)
