things that made me swoon in March...

March swoonage | yourwishcake.com
1. Bible App for Kids — This is a new-ish app, designed by the folks over at YouVersion. I definitely recommend this for any toddler mamas! For how well-designed and maintained this app is, I can't believe it's free. There are many of the classic bible stories within this app for kids to listen to (or read), and on each page of the story, there are interactive animations or questions to answer. Super cute! They add new stories on a regular basis, so there's always something new for Eisley to look at. She loves it. (And I love to have another way to encourage her understanding of the bible!)

2. Rugby Stripe Bins from The Container Store — One of my best friends works at The Container Store and bought me one of the large Rugby Stripe bins a couple years ago. When I was working on assembling a little cart of crafts/activities for Eisley, I knew I wanted to pick up a couple of the smaller bags fit on one of the shelves! These bags are one of their most popular (and most "pinned") items, and I can see why. They're super sturdy, beautifully designed and the small ones (that aren't even small, in my opinion) are only $9.99.

3. Semi-Fitted Workout Tanks from Old Navy — I mentioned these in my recent post about saving money at Old Navy, but I thought I'd link to them here for anyone who is interested in snagging some! (There are a couple colors that are on clearance for $5 right now, too.) These tanks are so flattering and comfy. Skin-tight workout gear is not up my alley these days, and the design of these make them loose without feeling frumpy. I highly recommend them!

4. Open Nature Vanilla Creamer — I've been trying to stay away from non-dairy creamers (well, the scrumptious ones that are riddled with artificial colors and flavors), and this creamer has become my new favorite! I've tried using just half-and-half, but coffee makes me sad when there is no flavoring. It's something I've come to accept. I was excited to discover a $1 Ibotta rebate on this creamer (exclusive to Vons/Safeway), which made my most recent purchase only .50 after sale prices and the Ibotta rebate. Hurrah!

5. MorningStar Sausage Patties — When these are available at Costco, I always have to buy some. They are so good. I feel like even non-veggie people would like these, because in my opinion they taste like real meat (perhaps just a bit less greasy). They are so quick and easy to make in the morning and make the best english muffin breakfast sandwiches ever.

6. Ebates — I have no idea why it took me so long to sign up for this. All I do is go through the Ebates website before shopping at almost any online retailer, and I receive cash back on my purchase. Even those I place online and pick up in-store! (Yes, I hate paying shipping, too.) I just did this for my recent purchase at The Container Store, which I picked up in-store, and it was so simple. You can even use Ebates for websites like Groupon, Snapfish, Amazon, and Zulily. Nice! I was also quite happy that I received a $10 Target gift card for simply signing up and completing my first rebate.

So, what made you swoon this past month? And also: How is it already April? Oh, the insanity.

Referral links are included in this post. Yep, Yep.

  1. So glad you do these posts! I have found some of my favorites through your recommendations. I signed up for Citrus Lane through your link awhile ago and love it. I just signed up for ebates through your link too. I was already going to make an online target purchase today- so hopefully I will get that awesome gift card for doing my first transaction! Thanks again!

    1. Thank you so much for the comment, Anna! I'm so glad to hear you've been able to enjoy some of the things I've shared. :) It's fun to make a note of things throughout the month that I can't wait to tell other people about.

Glad you were able to sign up for Ebates! Did they give you the choice of a $10 card to receive when you first went to sign up? That's how I got the $10 Target card, and my husband chose the same when he signed up. I wasn't sure if that was an offer that always popped up, so I'm hoping you were able to snag one!

Have a beautiful week. And thanks again! :)
