I wanted to show you a few of the new things I've been busy creating for the past few weeks. I had every intention of making twice what I came up with, but January has a way of getting the best of me. (Pass the DayQuil, sir.) Still, I'm rather pleased with the variety of items I was able to come up with—and, as always, I am excited for what I have yet to create.
I ended up setting up my little shelf in a local shop this morning, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. I kept thinking, Why haven't I done this before? It's actually not as intimidating as I thought it would be. Being such a perfectionist, it's hard to do anything like this without picking myself apart, and just going for it. But I'm glad I finally did. And now that I actually have it all set up, I can't stop thinking about other ways to decorate and fill my little space for the next few months (or, if things work out, beyond).
Here is a peek at what I will be selling locally—and will be adding to the shop, as well, once I can get all my ducks in a row:
Can I just…take photos of random things for a living? Because I could spend all afternoon taking photos of items I make for my shop. Since getting my fancy phone in August, I haven't given my fancy camera hardly any attention at all. It feels good to get back in that groove once again.
If you're ever in Southern California, you should stop by my friendly little shelf at Kidz Head2Toe. Because that would make me happy! True story.
