on two Tuesday things...

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone for the kind comments that were left on my most recent shop update! Your encouragement and sweetness keep me going. Truly. I chose the gift tag giveaway winners (using my old friend,, and want to congratulate Maggie of She Keeps Calm and Travels On, and Little of Romantically Challenged. I'll be sending you both some pretty snail mail this week!

Secondly, I'm finally diving back into the world of reviews. I know that some of you are all like, "UGH. Reviews. Gag me." And I totally get how the blogosphere seems incredibly weighed down by sponsored posts and endless reviews these days. However, I've decided that some opportunities are simply fun for me (free things make anyone swoony) and they also add a small amount of revenue to this whole blogging thing (which is kind of nice, considering I'm a stay-at-home-mom-ish sort of person).

I just wanted to state that I will only review things I'm actually interested in, and all reviews will be posted on my review blog (fitting, right?). I will link to them from here when needed, but I won't be going all crazypants with the sponsored posts. Honestly.

That said, if you'd like to hop on over to read my most recent review, feel free! I'm talking drugstore hair products and all that jazz. There may or may not be a coupon in it for you, as well as a chance to win a pretty awesome gift card. Click here to read the post!

Okay, now it's time to clean the duplex before the wee one wakes up and destroys it again. Hold me.

  1. I appreciate your disclaimer about reviewing things. I am really picky about my reviews and only support companies/products/services that I would actually actually use. I'm excited to read yours!

  2. I love reviews! What's not to love about them? If someone reviews something that I have no interest about then I simply don't read it, I know that there are others out there who will be interested in that certain product though. I lov a good review here and there :)

    1. Eek, totally meant "love" not "lov"

  3. I like reviews. Especially ones that is from someone who's actually used and LIKES the products. So I'll be excited to read what you review.
That's funny what you said about your little one destroying the house. I bet she's not so bad. And even if it is, I'm sure more of a cute mess, then a complete diaster. Or maybe it is a diaster. Maybe Eisley is slowing trying to drive you mad... :)

  4. Reviews are great! That's how I found out about cool new products! ;-) Thanks for sharing! look forward to them!
