on a Sunday treat...

deliciousness.

Considering I've been under the weather for the past few weeks, I decided to celebrate the great return (hopefully) of my health and appetite by treating myself to the greatest lunch in all humanity. Which is, of course, frozen yogurt. It's a little ridiculous how excited I became when I walked into Yogurtland this afternoon. I almost couldn't physically handle the anticipation. (I'm sure the girls behind the counter were eyeing me suspiciously as I tried to catch my breath.)

lunch (don't judge me).

However, I did finally make my decision and created the following bowl of goodness: New York Cheesecake, Strawberry and Red Velvet Cake Batter (I KNOW, RIGHT?) frozen yogurt. And as for the toppings? I took the recommendations of the lovely Natali and decided on a couple scoops of chocolate chips as well as some fresh strawberries.

epic.

This, my friends, is the lunch of champions. Amen.

  2. Isn't that combo so delish?! Red velvet cake batter was not an option at my yogurt place though- so that's clearly a crime. Now I want to go get yogurt again!

  20. Oh man, I can't handle that deliciousness. It's sleeting and snowing here in New York. All I want is for March to come around so Rita's opens again and I can get an Italian Ice.

  22. Yum! That looks sooooo delicious. I love frozen yogurt--usually I get plain tart with mango topping, but you are making me want to experiment. Especially if I can find some red velvet froyo, gasp. That sounds like heaven. <3
