on my current obsessions...
a few things I am presently obsessed with:
1. Taking my imagination to the next level. As in: I am, in my head, decorating the house we don't presently have (this includes a room with teal walls), re-planning the wedding I've already had (I blame the fact that two close friends are presently knee-deep in the whole process themselves), and coming up with awesome name combinations for my imaginary twin children (My favorite combination is "Emery & Eisley", but then I realize that maybe it's a little much to name both of them after bands - I mean, if we had triplets I'd have to name the third one "Creed" or maybe "Dave Matthews Band" and that would be mildly upsetting to everyone involved. But maybe not as upsetting as another option that makes me giggle, which is: "Kay & Jerry". You know, as in: Jay and Kerri and their children, Kay and Jerry. WOULDN'T THAT BLOW YOUR MIND?).
2. Planning my great return to the gym. Yes, I finally got a new membership. Yes, I am actually a little excited to try out the new treadmills. Yes, I am planning on ignoring any and all phone calls from the 24 Hour Fitness employee who is trying to get me to sign up for a personal training package (I think he senses my inability to say "no").
3. Coming up with ideas for a bunch of photography how-to posts. It's been a long time coming, mostly because I am no Pioneer Woman and when I think of actually giving advice about photography I can't help but think of how ridiculously unqualified I am. However, every now and then I have people asking about any tips I have on how to take better photos (which, for the record, flatters me to the point of heart meltage). So, I figure that it wouldn't hurt to at least share a bit of my photography knowledge. Just don't judge me when I am unable to rattle off technical information when it comes to my camera; I'm still referring to most of it's properties as "widgets". (I never claim to be professional. Obviously.)
4. Continuing my attempt at pulling off third-day-hair. And being a hot mess in the process. (Could I be more lazy? Really, guys. I have issues. Send help. Or shampoo?)
5. Fantasizing about this delicious ice cream treat and wanting to eat one every day of my life (cue: me being tacky and sending you over to my review blog to read all about the delicious, melty goodness):
