on a little shop update...
I finally got around to getting some more pretty wool felt to use in making some wallets! The first felt wallet I made was a couple years ago now, and it feels good to see how far I've come since then. (See my first felt project here. It makes me giggle to see it now. And my photography has apparently become a wee bit more professional since then, too. Sheesh!)
It's interesting to see how much can change in two years. And it feels good to see how much I've learned and only continue to learn! Makes me happy.
So, long story short, I'm happy to report that I've made a bunch of new felt wallets in pretty Autumn colors, all available in the shop now! I am busy working on another handful (some new designs, too) and they should be up by the end of next week. It's a good feeling, having a renewed excitement for something. I hadn't made any wallets in a good while and now? I physically can't stop. That's one of my favorite things about my etsy shop: I can focus on whatever I want to make, depending on my mood. I haven't boxed myself into one thing - I can make notecards, hair pins, felt wallets, random magnets, marshmallows...okay, so, I haven't exactly ever made marshmallows, but DOESN'T THAT SOUND LIKE FUN?
Anyway.
Here's a peek at some of the new wallets (seriously, taking photos is half the fun of making a new item):
