on a birthday request...

squishy baby face.

1. It's time for my second annual birthday delurk post! So, those of you who are out there and haven't yet posted a comment? Now is your chance! This is your moment of glory! Tell me something about yourself. What is your middle name? What is your most recent obsession? Would you like to come over for some wine and taquitos? Do you think I should take Joseph Gordon-Levitt as an additional husband? (Okay, so, maybe that last one is about me, but the jury is still out and I'm just wondering.)

2. Regular commenters/readers, feel free to leave your thoughts, too - oh, and you're also invited to the wine and taquito shenanigans. Obviously.

3. Check out Nicole's post to see the video I made about our Gap party this past weekend. It is good times. It took me a bajillion hours to make, but it was totally worth it. ("SIZE FOUR.")

    My middle name's Fawn (first is Shelby)...college freshman who leaves for school today! Obsession wise? I'm a new convert to Ben Folds and macbooks, and am obsessed with both. And if you take Joseph as a second husband, you'll have to share him with me!

Strangers stop envisioning you doing kegstands when you mention that you went out for cocktails with friends. Bartenders stop using a calculator to make sure you're over 21. And finally, if you get pregnant, people won't think you're from Arkansas.

    For me, that was a few years ago, and things get better and better each year!

Because my mom loved "Lynn" names, but didn't want me or my sister to have them as first names, because she didn't want them shortened into nicknames. She managed to give us first names that can't be shortened very easily. She also made up the spellings.

    And I'm sorry to tell you that I do not like wine, but I do like taquitos. So thank you for your kind invitation. Maybe I'll stop by in two weeks when my family drives down to California.

I have never had taquitos, so don't know how i'd feel about having them with wine, but i'm up for new things. i am currently obsessed with a puppy. i have wanted a bernese mountain dog for about 7 years, and I Finally found someone near where I am that has puppies. So I am going to buy one in October when they can leave their litter. and if you want him, you might as well take him. a good husband would allow you that 2nd husband. personally, i'd rather have a wife to take care of my house for me. :)
