on who I am (at the moment)...

wednesday.

I am...

...filled with hope and excitement about the future, and all it holds for my husband and I.

...looking forward to two days off, and thankful they started early this week.

...in love with the movie Marie Antoinette, and want to dress up fancy (this may or may not include petticoats and tiny pink shoes) and eat tea cakes while watching it.

...so incredibly excited to see my sister and her husband next week.

...hovering somewhere between loving myself completely and being entirely too critical.

...okay with not having babies in our immediate future - for today, at least.

...discovering that anything tastes better when drinking it out of a festive coffee mug.

...the girl who will laugh at anything, even if nobody else is laughing along.

...so blessed by friends near, far, and even those I haven't met face-to-face.

...adoring the music of Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and Joshua Radin - somehow, it fits the season and my mood.

...ready to take a million photos with my new camera lens.

...learning to accept fair skin, tummy pooches and the fact that I'll always be a little too sensitive.

...slightly overdue for a good run, and will hopefully remedy that this evening.

...looking forward to holiday decorating - but mostly Christmas lights, because they make anything more beautiful.

  6. Beautiful picture! If you like Ben Harper, Jack Johnson and Joshua Radin, then a) we both have good taste in music and b) try to download "Come On Get Higher" by Matt Nathanson. I just discovered it. :)

Marie Antoinette was the most visually stunning movie I have ever seen! I watch it just for the visual eye candy.

  20. Love your latest self portrait! Soo gorgeous! Yay for laughter! And good music! And for sure you should embrace your pale skin & tummy pooch (which I'm sure is non existent) if only for the fact that (I think) I'm paler than you and I know for sure my tummy is waaaaaaaayyy poochier X a million!

  24. oh yes I LOVE Marie Antoinette. maybe I will watch it tonight now that you reminded me of it.

and I'm glad the baby fever is subsiding. mine is too actually which is surprising after Morgan's baby shower. I've even thought about pushing back our "must-start-trying" date.. but who knows how I will feel when that day comes.
