on some baby news...

Guess who's preggers?

No, sillies, it's not ME. (That's not for a lack of pregnancy dreams and intense baby fever, though. I need to get over this. Hold me. Hold me and tell me this too shall pass.)

My older sister just found out she is pregnant with her first little babushka! They have been trying for about two years, and this is just the greatest blessing they could have asked for. This is also quite thrilling because this little baby is going to be my parents' first grandchild. It's crazy to think how grown up we've all become. Babies? Wow. In my mind, I still sometimes see my older sister and I running around the back yard with our beach towels flying behind us, singing the Batman theme song. (Um, who says we were all Barbies and nail polish? Who?)

I am so incredibly excited for them, and know they are going to be the greatest parents any child could ask for.

Oh, and I'm not going to lie. I totally can't wait until my sisters tummy is larger than mine. The girl hasn't gained any weight since highschool, so it's about darn time.

So, congrats, Missy! I absolutely can't wait to see you, and spoon you when you have a huge tummy. (J is just going to have to move on over and make some room. Auntie's get first dibs on the spoonage. Make sure he knows that.)

  16. aw, how exciting! Congratulations to your sister! And you too-- will this be your first niece or nephew? How wonderful. Well, you may find your baby fever severely increased by this, or maybe it will give you just the fix you need to tide you over until you can have adorable babies of your own. :)

Thanks for YOUR sweet comment! I was so glad you took the time to say hello, it made me feel like less of a crazy blog-stalker. hehe.
