on a case of the blues...

I'm having such a grumpy day, and I don't know why exactly. I have the day off to do whatever I want, I was able to sleep in, the weather is nice and cool, there is a Reno 911 marathon on TV (sorry, but I love that show), I am almost positively free of any kidney stones, I've cleaned up a bit of the house (which usually cheers me up) and I have Yardhouse happy hour with Jay to look forward to later on today.

So, why so glum?

Who knows. Maybe it's just one of those days. Maybe it's also that part of me was planning on a beach morning until it decided to not be blazing hot today. I am slightly bitter about that, I'm not going to lie. (I've lost every bit of tan I had a few weeks ago. Hello, self tanner. I need you now more than ever.) Although, instead of thinking of the negative, perhaps I should be happy that it's cool enough to justify wearing my favorite scarf ever today without looking like a fool. I have been waiting several weeks for that.

I hate feeling so mixed up and not being able to rationalize why I'm feeling a certain way. Maybe I should go put myself together and make some tea. Yes, that sounds good.

On a completely different note (and I swear I'm not trying to be mean, but every single time I see one of them I automatically think of the other - it's a serious issue, really):

  4. There is a striking resemblance between the two of them.

I hope you feel better. I always hate having days like that and when Andrew asks what is wrong with me and I can't answer that's even worse.
