on (not) blogging...

Yeah, so, I'm still alive and kicking. But considering we still have a certain lack of internet service at the new place, I haven't been able to do much of the blogging thing. So sad. But true.

But it's pretty safe to say that nothing that exciting has been going on the last several days. My hours are filled with work, conquering the treadmill, obsessively organizing the new place, and trying to get as much time with the hubs as humanly possible (which isn't that much lately). I should have some photos up of the new place within the week. M was over yesterday helping me hang photos and all that jazz, to which Jay noted later on in the evening, "I hope the guy doesn't mind us putting so many holes in the walls."

(blank stare.)

Well, then. He doesn't really have a choice now, does he? (And if he does, indeed, have an issue with it, when we move out he can spend the bajillion dollar deposit we had to pay him when we moved in and he can repaint it! Son of a gun.)

That said, it's looking absolutely homey, if I do say so myself. Very good ambiance. It makes me happy!

And considering I don't have much else to report, I bid you a very happy Superbowl Sunday! (Although, I could care less that it's the Superbowl. I'm so not American. I don't like apple pie or the Superbowl. How embarassing.)

  1. If your walls are white or off-white, you can get hole-patch stuff at any good Home Depot. I don't know how many times I've used it in the dorms!
