on happy hours and bike rides...

So, perhaps the decision to bike ride to the beach for happy hour and then bike ride home in the dark wasn't the greatest idea we've had in a while.

(But that's not to say that it wasn't awesome.)

Of course, now M is short one iPod nano (not sure at which point we lost it, but some homeless vagabond is surely enjoying the sounds of 311 and Journey at the given moment). And we may have a few bruises. But, what can we say. The memory of it all is pure hilarity, and that's worth it to me.

On a sidenote: I have a cd stuck in my car's cd player. Um, why? I think someone put a cd label on it that was a wee bit to0 thick and there it stays. I think I spent my entire drive to work pushing the "eject" button every seven seconds like a maniac. "I hear you in there! Come out! Gaaaaaa! Curses!" Granted, it's a good cd, but I don't want to listen to it for the next year and a half. Any advice? Is it like a toaster, and I'll get electrocuted if I put some tweesers in there to get it out? Because I'd rather avoid that, if at all possible.

  1. It's a mix I received in a swap lately. And I am deeply saddened.
