on my absence...

Cue the angels, I have returned from the abyss.

Inspired by my friends cricket and diana, I have decided to end my sabbatical from blogger. Of course, I'm not sure what I'm getting myself into, considering I've recently created my own piece of the web and have my livejournal going strong, as well. (Wow, this entry is already consumed by linkage. Go me.) I'm hoping I can pay enough attention to all three. (I'm not sure why I can't be happy with just one outlet on teh internets. What can I say? Free time much?) Anyway, I thought, what the heck, it could be nice to have a public blog again that anyone can read. Right? Right.

So, on we go.

Lately, I've been busy with work. (As always.) But it is going well. I recently hit the two-year mark, and that was rather amazing. I've never been at a job for more than a year, honestly. I have a feeling that customer service will be my calling for the next several years. (That is, until I follow my Handsome Prince to wherever his blossoming film career will take him. I'm crossing my fingers for a home in Naples, if we must stay in Southern California. Hope hope.) And really, I love my job. There are certain aspects that make me a little crazy, and it can be a little stressful every now and then, but I really love meeting new people and helping out customers - knowing that I made their day easier or better. I think that I'm good with people. My mom always said that I'd be either a nun or a nurse because I was so compassionate and sensitive. Mua-ha. (If I was a nun you know I'd totally be singing The Sound of Music all day long and plotting my own choir performance a la Sister Act. Hmmm. Actually, I could see the appeal.)

Other than that, I've been a crafting maniac. Which is always fun.

I'm going to Disneyworld in a couple weeks. It's going to be the greatest time of my young life. (Of course, nothing can live up to the honeymoon. Jamaica is my own personal heaven. Except with alot of weed.) I'm excited to spend some time with my sister and her husband, though. They are the greatest couple ever - we have so much fun together. Oh, the adventures we have yet to enjoy...I even designed t-shirts for us to wear so we can match. I love being a tourist, I really do.

And that's it for now. Hopefully you will be seeing more of me from now on. Weeeee!
